Founded in 2019, CloudDesk was born from a simple frustration: too many tools, too many meetings, too little actual work getting done.
In 2019, our co-founders Daniel Reeves and Mei Lin were running a 20-person product studio in Austin, TX. They were using six different tools just to manage daily work — and none of them talked to each other. Every sprint planning session turned into a 2-hour sync just to figure out who was doing what.
They decided to build something better. CloudDesk launched in beta in early 2020 with 50 hand-picked teams. Within 6 months, over 1,000 teams had signed up without a single dollar spent on marketing.
Today, CloudDesk is trusted by more than 12,000 teams across 64 countries — from two-person startups to Fortune 500 engineering departments. We're still growing, still shipping, and still obsessively focused on making your team's work feel effortless.
